Sporting Ireland
NPE Media Ltd produced four 'Sporting Ireland' magazine programmes on Sky Sports in 2009 and hope this will increase to a bi-monthly show by the end of 2010. We thank our sponsors Tourism Ireland, Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Waterways Ireland and Sport Northern Ireland for their support so far and look forward to working with them again this year. We are also still keen to hear from other potential sponsors who may help secure the extra programmes. We are also in the process of sourcing a distributor for the programme in the United States. Media Training at Lords Cricket Ground
Graham Little spent the day at Lords Cricket Ground earlier this month offering up media training for young sports apprentices. Graham helps at the annual Skillsactive Apprenticeship week every year. Here is a brief excerpt from some email reaction:
Hi Graham,
I recently (2nd Feb) attended your media training workshop which was
held at Lords as
part of the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence. I am a Sport
Psychologist and was there with a a couple of Surrey CCC Academy players I
work with. I just wanted to let you know that they found the workshop very
useful, as did I. They specifically commented afterwards that they took a
lot away from the workshop, found it engaging and interesting and feel it
has enhanced their knowledge of the media.
Kind Regards,
Rebecca Symes, M.Sc, CPsychol
Sport Psychologist & Performance Coach
