BOOK LAUNCH
‘No Prior Experience- Adventures of a Wannabe World Champion’ is Graham Little’s account of the hectic year he spent trying to become a world champion in a range of unusual events. From the World Rock, Paper, Scissors Championships in Toronto, to the World Elephant Polo Championships in Nepal, via Nettle Eating, Sauna Sitting and Stone Skimming, the book charts his bizarre adventures in seven different countries and nine different world championships.
While working as a sports reporter for UTV in Belfast, Graham lost his enthusiasm for conventional sports and found being part of the media scrum an at times degrading experience. He set out on an increasingly obsessional quest for personal glory and world domination in less mainstream but ultimately more inspiring events. ‘No Prior Experience- Adventures of a Silly World Champion’ charts his descent into obsession and the lasting influence his quest had on his life and career.
Published by Brehon Press in Belfast, ‘No Prior Experience- Adventures of a Silly World Champion’ will be available on Amazon from the end of June. Check this site later for details and links.
Some of Graham Little’s World Championship adventures are featured in his monthly ‘Little At Large’ travel column in ‘Yeah Baby’, the in-flight magazine of BMI Baby.
